Is watching porn at the office a common thing?

I walked in my boss's office to show him something and I looked up and saw the home screen of a porn site. I pretended I didn't see it and he said, "go find ___ and we'll discuss it further." So he knew I was about to come back in five minutes. When I came back I stood at the doorway hearing loud moaning and groans coming from the computer. Couldn't he just wait until he gets home

I used to check out the internet traffic monitor at work..On the weekends that thing would be lite up with red flags. The people knew we were monitoring them but they did it anyway. A guy was warned about three separate times..he got canned.

We have someone do it every few years...over the next few days, one morning you go in and their office is cleaned out and they disappear from the org chart.
Always has struck me as strange that people know my company monitors IT usage and people still do shite to get fired while at work.

I would much rather see porn on someones Laptop, than have a trashy person crop dust the room. I would fire someone for crop dusting me. It signifies true trash.
