Ovaltine did the trick for me.
Was tiny my first two years of HS. Started drinking ovaltine after each workout and bulked up

if you just eat all day and do nothing to stimulate muscle growth aren't you establishing poor eating habits and doing nothing to address the problem?

Hey man, do you. Get a nutritionist. I suggested milk and sprints. I know it works but to prove it I'd have to bust out pictures and hijack the thread.

I was under impression kid was a part of some team or club. I assumed was already doing some sort of "training"

Meh... those kids don't go 100% for 5-10 second bursts with proper rest time and you know it.

16 or when it is safe for him to lift. No negatives until he is 18 or older. Gotta let him grow and develop naturally as a youngster

Teach him to run and jump with his elbows out. After a couple of elbows to the ribs or chin, he will have his space.
