There's differences in a few things, but they're both Southerners.

I never had any animosity toward North Louisiana, the hunting is better, food is still good. I have family in Bossier and Claiborne parish and wouldn't mind living there.

What I never understood is why North Louisianans always think the southern part of the state is holding them back for some reason. If you look at things like GDP, income, education, most of the parishes that lead in those categories are in the southern part of the state. A lot of the wealth that comes from the South is subsidizing the north. Is a place like Delhi or Jonesboro nicer than places like Mandeville or Youngsville?
