Hey Motorboat I am a Toyota/Lexus guy myself. We have a Lexus LX470, 4runner and Sienna van with a combined 785k miles and they are all still running.
IMO I don't think the LR3/LR4 is a timeless classic with the body style. Now the old Range Rover Classic and LR Discovery 1 and 2 are timeless classic as well as the LR Defender. It is just like with Toyota people wanting the older 40 series Land Cruisers.
