Probably happening more frequently than it used to thanks to things like Snapchat and Instagram. Women love posting pictures of themselves on social media when they get all glammed up for a night out. Student slides up in her DM's with a few compliments that leads to some flirtacious messages back and forth, and next thing you know, he's smashing that. Then they get busted because high school boys can't keep their mouths shut and go brag to their buddies and/or they leave an electronic trail of texts or messages on social media that a parent eventually discovers.

of course now you can take a nude pic and send it to whoever immediately.
