I've got a BA Sociology from LSU. Have about 36 hours of EDU credit from accelerated certification from Nicholls (didn't finish before getting my first job) and passed the Praxis II PE test (which was hard but not as difficult as everyone makes it out to be) the first time.

All I have to do is pass the PLT and I could teach in most public school districts. I work in private school and I love the kids and school, so I don't see the rush to take that test. I'm sure I will eventually... just in case.

They didn't hire me to teach, but rather to coach football. I actually enjoy teaching more now.

My profession is a dying breed. Not many youngsters are getting a college degree to coach high school football. So,there is actually a high demand. I could get a job pretty easy.

I need some help with Calc, Probability, & some Trig on the Praxis #5161. I'm not near as strong as I'd like to be for the needed 160 score.

Could you email me anything you think will help me prepare over the next week so I can pass?

Thanks in advance.

Due to the lack/shortage of certified teachers in LA, there are plenty who aren't certified and who are "working on their certification."
