Is help needed transporting people from boats to shelters

I'm just curious for the people that don't have boats but may have larger suvs or vans...do they need help transporting people once they get off the boat..what are they doing with the people, just dropping them off on dry land and then what?

I was poking fun at some on here claiming people just want to help out to post selfies on Facebook rather than actually do it fit the good of your fellow man and pack sandbags all night.

I'm sorry..didn't know they were doing that..I want to help..got a 12 passenger van with carseats and trying to take a paid leave day from work to see if I could help since my area isn't flooding..

Just went to house of faith and they took my name and number..said it works pick up around dark and they would probably need me then..anyone else have anything?
