Best concert I've ever attended was The Avett Brothers. I've seen them twice in Asheville.

I walked out early on George Strait, and kept wishing the Jack Johnson show would hurry up and end......and I really like their music.

This is hard to imagine, but Rick Springfield in Biloxi a couple of years ago, was damn good. We had free tickets and wasn't all that fired up to go, but decided we could always leave if it wasn't good. I caught myself getting impatient in the beer line, thinking "I'm missing the show!" He was very entertaining.

this is something that perhaps should be kept to one's self, unless, possibly sharing on the soccer board

I saw a lot of great shows back the 80s-90s, prob averaged $20 a ticket, if that. AC/DC, Garth Brooks, George Straight, Stones. Tickets for shows these days are insane. Count me out.

It's almost like inflation happened and everyone has more money these days than they had in those glory days.

What I mean is that ticket prices have risen in corresponding fashion with the "amount" of money people have in their pocket. Two grand today is the same as having one grand back in 1990, so it's only natural that a concert ticket costs $50, as opposed to $25 back in 1990...cruiser.

It's probably not worth the money unless you really want to see the band. As for LSU games or Saints games, for me they are worth it a few times a year but I wouldn't want season tickets.
