Not necessarily. It's a misdemeanor up to 28 grams for herb. If you have any kind of hash/concentrate and possibly even edibles, then it's a felony.

ANY type of legal issues for marijuana possession against a person who is prescribed or of legal age is unacceptable, in 2016 when you have states of this country legalizing and the many other factors of why this plant isn't killing anyone..it's insane how ignorant people still are to marijuana.
