Internet/cable options

Currently trying to get internet and cable set up at my new place in BR. At my last place, we used Cox, and my old roommate chose some bundle deal they had at the time before I moved in, so not really sure what it was. But just wanted to see what everyone else has done for their own place and what other good deals/services there are.
It's 3 of us in the house. We pretty much just need internet and cable, but we aren't sure about whether or not we want a whole lot of channels or just the basic ones (local news, abc, whatever etc.) since we stream Hulu and Netflix.
Anyone have anything they recommend getting or looking into?

I don't know about BR, but a lot of places don't filter out the basic cable signal when they send the Internet signal to your house. You might could try it before you sign up for a package.
