Just a side note to this discussion:
At Colorado College in Colorado Springs you only take a course at a time. One course for 2-3 weeks and on to another one. I don't know if I could do it but Ibgues it works for them.

I loved intercession . You get 3 hrs credit in 2.5 weeks of school. Projects are short too. I took a computer science class. Prof said that "I would give you a project that would take the whole semester , but given that we don't have a whole semester , here is something that only should take a week to complete ".

Intercession is very difficult unless you're a saint.
