I used to love that place, going through tomorrow but only have time for one pizza, and one boudin joint, so I'm going to use it on PV and Best Stop, maybe get some supplies from Don's specialty as I'm turning north, can't wait

ETA: there was a dance studio right by Deano's run by a 19 year old way back when that I used to knock the bottom out of, and she'd pay for the pizza and beer

They sold it or leased it out or something.

Supposedly being renovated and will be reopening. At least that's what I've heard.

That's my little sister you're talking about you douchebag.

Just joking.

BTW, if you want some great boudin, try Billy's on the southwest side of the Scott exit. Their smoked boudin is the shite, you'll love it.

And tell them to cement their freakin' parking lot while you're there. As much money as that place is making, those potholes are for terrible.

I need some Lafayette blue blood advice. I'm looking to potentially build a house in south lafayette. I want a nice size lot so I can have a big backyard. Which neighborhoods should I look in and what builders should I check out?

You wanna stay in Lafayette or would you go out into Maurice? You can get a bigger lot of land for cheaper out there.

What do you call a nice sized lot? Typical cattle call yards in neighborhoods now are about 85X65. 2100sq. ft. house takes up the whole yard. Wanna buy mine? lol Lot is 100X150 with house on it

Pete's is out of business. The original owner still owns the business. He is renovating it, will more than likely be another 'Pete's'...

I'm looking in the Youngsville/broussard area. I don't mind a commute to work. What would you think that would be to the oil center, a 20 min morning commute?

Depending on where you are, you can hop on Pinhook or the Thruway pretty easily so I'd say 20 minutes is reasonable.

I'd say twenty minutes from Broussard to the Oil Center is on the edge of reasonable. Depending on where you are going in Youngsville, could be longer.
