I drive through on I-10 twice a week and barely even notice. Interstate traffic is nothing like Louisiana. The strip malls and chains are completely out of control. It's pretty dirty. Florida State area is nice the woman are unbelievable. Culturally it's kinda Southern, much more so than Central and South Florida but it also has a lot Yankees, transients, culcha, and Florida weirdness. They host arse tons of corporate conventions and shite downtown all the time

No state taxes in Florida. Tallahassee isn't so bad.

Lived there from 2000 to 2001 and again from 2004 to 2009.
Pros: great place if you like to hunt and fish. As soon as you hit the city limits you’re in the country - no sprawl. Lots of college girls if you’re in that age group. Gulf coast (PCB, Destin, etc) are only a couple of hours away.
Cons: there are 2 employers - FSU and state government. Not much night life or other social activities unless you’re college aged.
Pros: great place if you like to hunt and fish. As soon as you hit the city limits you’re in the country - no sprawl. Lots of college girls if you’re in that age group. Gulf coast (PCB, Destin, etc) are only a couple of hours away.
