I think his issue started around the 10 second mark. Plane did some odd moves.

Uneducated guess, but looks like the plan was to fly a knife’s edge (90 degrees bank) roll inverted and pull? Seems like he pulled, realized he didn’t have enough altitude/energy to avoid the ground, rolled right side up and tried to climb but just too late?
I’m hoping some of our resident pilots chime in.

Sucks he lost his life, but the inferno probably incinerated a lot of the trash on the ground. So I guess that's a small win.
