Knoxville has many positives going for it. Whether you like the University or not, it brings many positives. Also, the real gem, aside from the great four seasons, is the proximity to the Smokies. Douglas Lake, Tellico Lake, and Norris Lake are great attractions as well.

Maryville's a nice town. There is plenty to do plus it's even closer to the less tourist side of the Smokies and easy enough to go into Knoxville for a day.

Good schools too, but most of the schools around here (Knox and surrounding counties) aside from a few are good.
