Well yeah, I’m a pilot. I’d be in high demand as the only pilot on earth.

Try woodworking without your compound miter saw, table saw, drill, screws, wood glue, milled lumber, plywood.

The principle of the steam engine was known by the 1600s and practical models were in wide use by the mid 1700s. You'd only have to improve on what was already known, which should be easy to do with basic mechanical knowledge. Maybe invent a steam turbine a few decades earlier than it was in our timeline.

Glider maybe. The internal combustion engine was the key to modern aircraft and I can’t built one of those either.

I feel like reading, writing, and basic math skills would absolutely be relevant in the fricking 1700s so it’s pretty much a yes to anyone who passed 8th grade
