Considering you also regularly assure us that Alaska winters are "not so bad" so I think it's fair to say your definition of nice weather is a little bit of an outlier.

Alaskan winters are about like California summers. Mild to extreme. There are places in coastal Ak that get less snow in winter than Fayetteville, Ar.

Too bad San Diego is in California. One of my favorite cities stuck in a shite state
people in san diego generally just dont give a frick

they want to enjoy the beautiful weather, surf, and just enjoy life

they are not smug or overly political at all, imo

Yeah, this. Although, I really thought parts of LA area were chill (I liked Manhattan Beach).

Bay Area, I've had good times in as well.

Average. Juneau is a snowy city and we get around 100" a year, but are warmer than cities like Chicago .

Outer coast towns like Sitka don't get much in the way of snowfall. Their winter temps aren't much different than Seattle. Some towns on the outside waters of the Alaska Peninsula get less than 10" a year.

I can live pretty much anywhere I want.

I like the Landmass, so that's where I live.

Money is no object? Old Manhattan condo overlooking Central Park with some refined old money blonde chick or bungalow in Hollywood Hills with 2 hippie girlfriends in a poly amorous relationship.

Realistically? Old warehouse loft in South Loop Chicago with decent city view with tatted hipster chick.

I currently live in Seattle and if you can deal with the crap weather from Oct - May its pretty awesome.

we've got someone who actually lives in Seattle telling you the weather is shite for 8 months, but I'm sure the guys who don't live there know better.

I have friends who live there now and an ex in Portland and all of them wait for those few months of the year. Piss on that.

Wow what a surprise that somebody who dedicated his screen name to Jarrett Lee hates New Orleans.

I wonder WHY exactly he hates New Orleans???

Hmm..
