This is an interesting question.
I googled and got this response but this is from 2005.
I am going to say it would be on the lower side.. About $4M. Of course it depends on the walmart you go to.

Some crazy math from some of you on this thread. First, the question is not if you bought everything in a store, but rather ONE each of all in stock SKUs.
There is approx 120,000 skus in a Wal Mart store. The TOTAL of all those in stock items is approx $10M of inventory (meaning multiple items of each sku)
So, if ringing up 1 each of the 120,000 skus, the total would likely be in the $3M range, give or take.
That's an educated guess of course, but I did spend 20 plus years in those big box stores running the operations.
