Halon extinguishers are the ones that react with available oxygen.
The type inhaled by the moron in the video is a dry chemical extinguisher commonly known as an ABC extinguisher. They usually contain a combination of monoammonium phosphate and ammonium sulfate.
I'm sure he learned a lesson, but I seriously doubt he died.
