There is no deterrent, or larger spectacle, than the guillotine.

Think of the mess that spilling a cup full of water makes. Now think of the mess 6 liters of blood spurting and finally dripping out of a headless body would make.

You could even have raffles to see who gets to drop the blade. It would make the state more money than the Power ball.

And for you spendthrifts, it's super economical.
