Free the drones!
We need to take a step into the future. How have they not found a compromise with the FAA?

The FAA isn’t really holding them up at this point - their technology is still a long way off from achieving economical/practical drone delivery on a large scale.
Amazon currently projects their delivery costs at $65/package by 2025 (we shall see) and their current drones only have a 3 mile delivery range, at a reported cost of over $140k per drone.

The whole country would be littered with crashed drones and useless crap from China. The technology just isn’t there yet.

They'd probably still take a week to get my package to me.

FYI. Amazon is testing these in south College Station. They have a warehouse set up called the hive, and drones deliver in a 5 mile radius.

Where do you live that it takes a week?

These are just an excuse to spy on us by hovering in our yards, looking in our windows.

Our small town here in west Texas is somewhat ahead of the curve. We get food delivery by drone. Here is delivery of Whataburgers to my front driveway.
Mostly fast food: Whataburger, DQ, CFA, Wendy's and the like. Place your order with the app on your phone and then delivery usually in about 30 minutes. A map shows the progress of the delivery.
