Just one night. They gave me a nickname and everything. REALLY genuine people.

This is obvious sarcasm.

Getting to know all kinds of people and getting/giving respect is obviously not a bad life experience.

Letting any of these guys in your vehicle for ANY length of time is OBVIOUS STUPIDITY.

I don't find this hard to believe. What drives most people to gang membership is the lack of a family dynamic in their own lives. People they can trust, people they can depend on, people who will help them out when the need arises. That sort of need is perfectly natural, and people will seek it out in other forms if it's absent from their inherent situation. That doesn't excuse the criminal activities that they engage in, but it helps explain why the gangs materialize in the first place.

I don't "respect" either, really. But biker gangs are mostly just posers who lack any skills to last in the real world. At least the street gangs realize who they are and adapt to the environment.

That's great that biker gangs raise money for charity though. Even though it's just a smokescreen for the gangs that actually do illegal activities.

How many members of an MC do you personally know?

The ones in the vehicle were the "good ones". None of the drug affiliates got that personal. More of a "oh you're friends with _____, you mean well in my regards. We shall form an alliance".

REAL bikers? None because any real biker wouldn't associate themselves with a young professional in the corporate world on a consistent basis.

But look, even Hell's Angels are posers now. Mike Gordon diddles a president's 9 year old daughter and don't donanything about it.

This makes for good practice for holding onto your soap later on in prison.

From your own link....

quote:

The girl's father -- who, along with Gordon, was an invited guest backstage -- has been identified as a leader of a Hell's Angels chapter. Gordon is reported to have been held by venue security and members of the motorcycle club until police arrived, with WNBC adding that the Angels "were not gentle with the sensitive areas of the rock star's body."

Sounds to me like they beat the hell out of him.

But beyond that, do you really think one guy and once incident from over 10 years ago represents everyone who rides? Come on now, don't you get your panties in a wad whenever someone on her tries to paint all the millennials in a bad light due to the actions of a few bad apples?

Giving him a little beating doesn't justify child molestation. But no I was just posting an example of them being a lot less notorious than they used to. I don't let panties wad over things said in a sports messaging board on the Internet. That would be pretty sad.

From what I've read he didn't molest anyone. Do you have a link where he was convicted of this? I looked but didn't see anything.

Not as sad as being a troll on that message board.

Yeah he didn't get "caught" molesting. He was caught talking inappropriate pictures of a 9 yr old, don't try to make that sounds not as bad

I'm not trying to make it sound any way. I don't know the whole story here but I'm guessing that since he's not in prison, there was nothing there. I'd imagine if there were photos he took of the child that were bad, those would be evidence enough to lock him up.

You'd have to talk to the guys who were there. I wasn't there, nor do I know any of the people involved, so I'm not sure why you think what happened there is even relevant.

As someone who has never known or associated with anyone in an MC or a street gang, and is a corporate yuppie, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say you are probably one of the most pretentious assholes I've ever seen post on here. That's an impressive accomplishment.
