Both are being said. Every time. One at a high frequency and one at a low frequency.

The first time I listened I heard Yanny. Like 2 days later I heard Laurel and couldn’t hear Yanny at all. So I thought to myself “ok there must be two different versions out there that make you hear different things”. Then there was a show on TV that played it and it sounded like Yanny again. So I went back to the same recording where I heard Laurel and all of the sudden it was Yanny.
Blows my mind. I never know when I’m going to hear Laurel or Yanny. Basically luck of the draw for me
