I've trimmed the Christmas part off the labels after the holidays.

Personalized note pads, pens and address labels are awesome from those places. Close second: Free Christmas cards. Distant third: free religious medals from various Catholic charities only because I have enough St. Anthony and St. Jude medals to last a lifetime.

I open shite from Nielsen, the TV ratings people. They put dollar bills in when they want you to rate TV shows.

Wounded Warrior sends me a free postage stamp every few months. I strongly want to support veterans - but I know this organization has spent more money soliciting additional donations than what $ I sent them in the first place. I wanted the money to go directly to a veteran, their families, the VA, or some type of program for veterans. I didn't want my money to pay for more letters and the free trinkets contained therein, along with a solicitation for more money. And - paying the salaries for whoever the committee members are that run it.
