I'm the same way.
My wife (no pics) negotiates contracts for a living and I do as well. I let her deal with car salesmen.
She's known among the family as "the Viking Horde". Ruthless does not begin to describe her negotiating style. She is the only person I've ever seen be cursed at by dealership GMs AFTER she buys the car.
It usually goes like this-
"Make sure they signed everything, give her the keys, and get her the frick off my lot."

Especially negotiating.
I should do it professionally. If anyone wants to hire me PM me.
I love fricking with the salesmen and their ‘managers’. They lie.
You should. Hold your ground, lowball them, and walk out as much as necessary. And never commit to a particular car. You’ll always find it or something similar cheaper, especially right after you overpay for it.
Especially negotiating.
