I always imagined nurses to look like this.

I think u would be very surprised when walking though some ICUs... A lot more masculinity than u would think. Quite a few beards on the units I worked for. Last unit I worked on, a bunch of the dudes actually started a duck lease together. This is actually my first nursing job where there are more females than males working

We just got the highest standard from JC. Only 7 other hospitals in the country have it. Stroke center,

But we also created a statewide network. I

If you ever have a stroke, Mississippi is the place to be.

But we are still the rotting a-hole of the country for anything else.

On a side note. Never stop in Jackson after dark. Ever.

Here' why I was always taught women were nurses. I read that women have a smaller brain, but are more naturally inclined to care for men out of centuries of evolution.

Is that why they are better suited to be nurses? I would imagine a nurse only has to take orders from a male doctor and focuses on things like caring for the patient (wiping their forehead, bedpans, etc.) kind of like on tv?

Either way, seems like easy money to me, so I kind of understand why you guys do it.

We are comprehensive stroke center from JC as well, first in LA, second recert. Actually have a telestroke program that extends to multiple states. We steal a lot of your pts from southern MS due to telestroke and buying a flight care in gulfport and mccomb. 34 bed unit, got to eat.
