I Had A Foley for the First time A Few Weeks Ago. I Feel Different About Them,

I've inserted hundreds, maybe thousands of them. But. frick that.
That hurt! I pulled it out in ICU. That hurt worse. Then it went back in....along with a urologist consult, of course.
I am aware that almost all women have this during childbirth. But....DAMN!

Yes I did. My wife is also an I CU nurse. I was all kinds of not myself and fricked up.

On levophed and dopamine infusions. Also fent...so I never felt it.

Just type it in, nurse. About how St. D saved my life and how wonderful everything is now.

Just found the thread you posted about it. Wow, so glad you are ok. That had to be scary.
And crazy to be on the other side as a neuro patient.
Only do the commercial if you feel comfortable with it. Our hospital has a burn center and there is a couple that was in a plane crash that were both patients of our burn center years ago. They are so grateful to the care they received that they have done several videos to promote the hospital. They have also attended functions promoting the burn center.

Good Lord....a burn center. My heart has been broken over and over with the kids that I've treated in the ER and chopper end or ground to burn centers.

Oh I don't work in the burn center. Acute Pediatrics.
Although they sometimes float me to the peds burn unit.
I've assisted with dressing changes those times I floated...yeah I couldn't do that on a daily basis. Even with morphine and versed those poor kids are in incredible amounts of pain during dressing changes.
