Until they fix the problem with the "2 lane bridge over the largest river in the country that happens to also be the main choke point on the primary east coast to west coast artery in the country"......IT DOESN'T MATTER.

quote:

We need a "catastrophic failure" of the bridge to get anything done.

Similar to i35 in Minneapolis.

If that happens you get a blank check from feds

I think the flooding was a catastrophic failure of our drainage system...yet, we aren't getting the blank check from the Feds to finish the projects that came about after the '83 flood.

Trying to figure out how long its going to take the contractor to do this 7 mile stretch. How long did it take the contractor to complete the expansion from the split to Highland?

The only place in America I-10 goes to one lane is at Washington Street, just after you cross the largest river in America.

I have a place in Atl and I swear these people know how build and do it fast! I watch them resurface Peachtree in Brookhaven 1 lane per night 3 miles stretch go to bed was scrapping it up woke up next morning new lane (Magic Lol). My place in Burnside its been 2 1/2 months they still haven't resurfaced HWY 22 to I-10

Yeah, let's focus on that part of the interstate and completely ignore the ONLY PART OF I-10 IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY THAT GOES DOWN TO 1 LANE. Fick off.
