HVAC Thermostat Question

I have a Totaline thermostat, model P474-0100. When I set the thermostat to the desired temperature, when said temperature is reached, A/C turns off and thermostat changes setting to 99 degrees. Any suggestions? Is the thermostat going out? TIA.

Yeah it shouldn't do that, get a new one. Emerson at coburns are a good brand.
