Definitely will have to give it a try. If done correctly, a nice bar in that area can make some serious bank.

Yea, basically all you have is that block with Woodrow's, Luckys, etc and a couple of high end hotel restaurants. All of this most people that drive in wouldn't know was there tho if they are just going to Minute Maid. It's amazing what a SuperBowl can bring in.

Yea, I lived downtown at the Rice 2008-2013, I know the pain with homeless people. I couldn't take my dog for a walk without being bothered 1-2 times. We didn't even have cool shite like Captain Foxhearts, Honeymoon, Public Services, etc. It was Flying Saucer, Warren's, or La Carafe. That was pretty much it.

Then I guess I'll be at the bar formerly known as the bus here in a few

I lived at Club Quarters in 2013-2014, I enjoyed my time living downtown but don't miss it too much.
