Squats and deadlifts.

I’d use an old trick we used to use back on the farm to make pigs grow large hams. You have to elevate their food high enough to where they have to stand on their hind legs to eat. For the dogs you like, I would guess 6-8 inches would be sufficient. I would suggest some kind of wooden step stool that you can cut something have of their bowl. The idea is for them to stand on their back legs with their front legs resting on the sides of the bowl when they eat.

Strap a 30lb weight to his back outside and then vacuum the floor inside. He will work his arse off to get inside and scratch his back all over the newly vacuumed floor.

Our dog when I was a kid lost feeling in her back paws around 15 or so. We were going to put her down soon, but started walking her with a towel under her to help support her back legs.
She kept improving and eventually relearned how to walk. We’d gradually help her less and less.

NaturVet Glucosamine DS Plus Level 2...
I buy it from Chewy
This should be a part of your plan. Helps our 13 year old immensely. My cousin is a vet and suggested the glucosamine.
