Do they come to the office first? It's my understanding if they are used to commute from home to office or office to home, that's personal. Going straight to service calls, jobs sites, etc.. from home would not be personal. A personal errand that is on the way to a job-related destination is also not considered personal use (de minimis).

This an easy decision. If you take the company truck you gain nothing of value as it is not yours. Take the extra $10 and view it as an asset. Buy a vehicle with it or invest it. At the end of the day you have something that is yours not theirs.

That depends. Will you have to report personal use miles? If so, you will be taxed on that.
