How Many Flooded in Katrina and 2016?

I wonder how many people lost everything in Katrina, moved to BR/surrounding areas and lost it all again. I can't imagine the pain and anger. I am so sad for my home state.

After losing it all once it doesn't really matter anymore...I mean once all the meaningful items like the photos and family items are gone nothing really means much. I know exactly what I'd grab if we were evacuated again, and it's not much.
ETA: If it happens again I'm renting a front loading tractor and 'accidentally' (whoops) running it through the house. I'm not fixing another flooded house...
