Then do the math as an impartial and realize either you are paying extra because you can't be there or because there is a great pay gap.

I paid 736 a month plus day care 346 a month plus 1500 in alimony. Thank god I was deployed through most of the alimony.

Take your income, double it, the divide by 2 and give what is left to your ex wife.

Look at the website of the Department of Children & Family Services in Louisiana. DCFS

Those tables are from 2016; don't know if it's been changed since then, but these should give you a general idea.
