I’ve been on them for 20 years and probably would’ve killed myself without them. My life would definitely be worse. However, they have a lot of funky side effects I absolutely hate and they change my personality drastically

If it helps someone I’m happy for them. I feel like they’re too readily prescribed and do more harm than good in general. I took them for a few months after I lost the coolest person I know. Juice wasn’t worth the squeeze for me.

Im a big fan of Acetyl-L-Carnitine. It’s natural non-dependency forming. And it’s great for erection quality.

I can share.
There was a time in my life when things were extremely difficult for me due to a family health situation. I was raising kids by myself, working ungodly hours, caregiving when I was not working, and spending huge sums for outside caregivers. I got about four hours of sleep a night. I’d fall asleep at stoplights. This went on for years.
I’m honestly surprised I survived it. That is not hyperbole.
At some point a doctor gave me Celexa. It did not help much at first. Then one day I woke up without abject screaming terror in my gut.
It was like rebooting a computer. I discontinued after about a month due to side effects, but I could carry that feeling, that reset feeling, with me for a long time.
If you have really difficult personal circumstances or real, extreme anxiety, try them. How long you take them is up to you.
