How are taxes in Central relative to surrounding areas?

I know the school system and public services are separate from EBR s there is certainly value. What is the difference in taxation structure? I read there is a supplemental sales tax in Central, are property taxes higher as well?

I pay about 1% of my homes value year for a 316k assessment
