Great thread. I read every post.

If I'm flying for work, I'm in a coat and tie. That only happens once a year, most years. If I'm flying to Virginia Beach in the summer to play with my nephew's kids, I'm in shorts, a placket front short sleeved shirt with at least one pocket, and running shoes, with socks.

Why would I put on long pants to fly from Monroe to VB? I don't have sores on my legs. They actually look nice for me being 59 years old.

Anyone, who thinks I'm too casual needs to pay for a first class ticket. If you pay more than I do, it's ok for you to expect more. If not, that's on your cheap arse. If my attire bothers you, I hope you are miserable for the duration of the flight.

This is what I wear when flying:. Nike slides for my feet. My feet tend to sweat a lot so the slides make my feet feel cooler. Cargo shorts because the pockets come in handy for any snacks that I bring aboard. I also like to wear a LSU or Saints jersey as it's a great conversation starter. Bottom line is to act and dress classy and people will treat you like you got class.
