I have never been in a food court and NOT seen a child crying.... and NEVER ONCE did I even entertain the thought of calling the police.
These fricking people think they are good samaritans and they are not. IT IS A FOOD COURT.... WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR KIDS TO LUNCH.

It first reminded me of that idiot out here in AZ that left her kids in the car while interviewing for a job, then got like 100K donated to her via an internet fundraiser and used the money to buy one of her baby daddy's time in a rap studio to make an album and other stuff for herself instead of education funds for her children and housing as she originally promised. I think she is back in jail now.
Then I read the article and realized it is nothing like that. Maybe not the best idea, but certainly not child abandonment.
