So I had never heard of bloat in dogs until this thread, but unfortunately my brother just had to put his 13 year old dog down two days ago because of it. He fit the description of the dogs that apparently are at risk.They woke up to him groaning and puking at 3 a.m., took him in at 4 and X-rays showed the issue. He was old and they were looking at a $7k surgery to try and save him. Kids are young and struggling with the loss.

They were up in the NC mountains over the fourth and I'm wondering if the elevation/pressure change could've cause it?

Was named Bennett after Tony Bennett (the UWGB one)...RIP Benny.

Happy to hear this - great lookin dog!

Lost my half Dane right after covid hit. I was a wreck for weeks. Now I just think about the good times

Here’s hoping yours has a lot of years left, you’re a good owner for catching the bloat early
