That was only part of it though. During that same match, Bret did the figure four around the ringpost spot and slammed the back of his own head on the concrete. Then his dumbass had some hardcore matches with Terry Funk in January.

Irony - Bret wrestled Terry in what was supposed to be Terry's last match in 1997 in Amarillo. Terry then wrestled Bret in what became Bret's last match in 2000.

It's because Dennis Stamp didn't get booked during that 97 match. He's what I remember most from Beyond the Mat.
