Opiod epidemic? I’m far more concerned about the freakazoid epidemic.

One of the worst parts of this epidemic is it's making it too much of a hassle for normal people to get the drugs they need.

I recently had a pretty severe injury and resulting surgery and brutal rehab.
I have a standing Percocet 10 scrip to take 1 every four hours. I took 4 per day for a couple weeks and gradually started reducing to 3 per day to 2 and now 1.5 per day.
I still experience a good bit of pain but have been vigilant to not become addicted. It hasn’t been easy, and even with my management of it I could feel myself getting addicted, so I’m glad I managed it the way I did.
After this week, I’m am completely switching to NORCOs for a couple weeks, before stopping completely.
