I have been a bill collector in another life. I found a guy living in an abandoned grain bin. Had a shotgun ready to shoot me. There are plenty of abandoned properties in Mississippi for homeless to hide. Plus it's cheap AF and tons of section 8.

I find that the further west you go, the worse the homeless problem gets. No clue how they stay in places that get cold af in the winter

Ok, so it seems to be a problem everywhere and there's little that can be done about it.

$10 trillion was printed during Covid because of Dims, every homeless person in America could have their own Mar-A-Lago and retirement fund

We have more than our fair share of homelessness in Orlando. Rent is stupid high and salaries are still very low- we have a heavy service oriented job base, i.e. hotels, restaurants, entertainment jobs don’t pay well, but that doesn’t seem to keep housing down.

Housing cost is not the driver of homelessness. Homelessness is a mental health issue mostly. The majority of chronically homeless people choose to live that way.

Jacksonville has one area with a lot of homeless people but they stay concentrated there. There’s a few here and there under overpasses in busy areas with signs but it’s not overwhelming like the west coast or other major cities.

Hell I’m in PCB and we have a huge homeless problem here. Mainly due to drugs

Just got back from there. We actually stayed in PC proper with some relatives. Zero chance of me ever living there voluntarily. What a shithole.

If you're downtown St Pete for any amount of time at all and you don't see a shite ton of homeless then you're blind. They kick em out of the parks right in downtown proper where the tourists go and big business is, but go a few blocks out they're everywhere. All the parks from 9th st west of downtown are infested. It's disgusting

Take Back the Streets: Get Rid of the Bums. Again: unleash the cops to clear the streets of bums and vagrants. Where will they go? Who cares? Hopefully, they will disappear, that is, move from the ranks of the petted and cosseted bum class to the ranks of the productive members of society.
