Let me explain it to you since you're woefully ignorant or intentionally dishonest.

Most people defend the right of HOAs to exist. In other words, most people defend the rights of individuals voluntarily entering into a mutually agreed-upon contract. All that said, those same people personally would never choose to do so. You can disagree with something personally and still defend the right of it to exist. I mean, that's not necessarily a concept liberals grasp but most conservatives do.

I personally despise HOAs and would never live in one because I value my property rights that highly. However, if my neighbors want to enter into one, who am I to tell them they can't? They're voluntarily choosing to do so and that's on them. Nobody forces you into an HOA.

It's really all about the non-aggression principle. You either believe in it or you don't. If you do, you're a true American, if you don't, you're the true definition of a fascist.
