This is true. I dated one back in the day and know the lady that (at least used to) makes them and the reason is the uniforms. They get one and have to fit in it all year. They don't want them falling off or their lady parts hanging out of them.

I highly doubt they enforce it that strictly.
We had the +/- 5lbs rule at an old job of mine and the only girls who ever got put on probation for it were girls who BLEW the hell up and no longer fit in the expensive work-provided uniforms.
Liz - I entirely forgot we both worked for the casino at the same time.
Like others have said, it is because uniforms are custom made. They're not going to get someone to re-make you a uniform every time you fluctuate too much.
