It's no worse than NWLA to me but it is just different. Lots of sun screen and you cannot drink enough water. I have been in August and September (LSU football game Katrina year). You get off the course before 1-2pm and you will be fine (you're are young!). I can't stress enough about drinking water & sports drink the night before. Also, another tip - hang a large towel over your clubs when you play to keep them from burning your hand when you pull a club.

I always go the first week of June. Prices drop and not that hot for people from Louisiana. Have fun
