Surprised I didn't see it mentioned yet...
The best solvent for sticker goo is Naphtha.
If you have some zippo lighter fluid, that is naphtha. Even if you don't have a zippo lighter, it's a good idea to keep a bottle of the lighter fluid around.

Rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball might do it. Rinse well afterwards.
