I texted my eye doctor, dude. I did misunderstand the latticing part. She said that wouldn't hurt.

probably sinus infection or migraine (but likely not if you've never had one)
I had a headache so bad my eyes hurt (about a year ago)...turned out to be viral meningitis, and my eyes were hurting from brain swelling
