No, although she has a yorkie, and it can drown for all I care! I swear I love animals, but dogs dying just doesn't upset me all that much. I'm not even sure I'll cry when my dog dies, although I might.

Had a schnauzer drown a decade ago, he fell into a pool and couldn't swim. My gal called me in hysterics.
