Appears the owner/manager didn't want them playing in front of the entrance of his establishment, very likely due to him having his own band playing inside. Based on this video showing him yelling at the Fine Young Gentlemen, I assume this was going on for a while and just started getting heated. Once the FYGs started using their instruments to taunt the bouncer (ishe?) that's when things got elevated.
I have no issue with street performers, but get away from the entrance of bars. They have their own music inside, and you are interfering with that as well as people trying to enter and leave. These FYGs think they own and run everything, and they are ready to pounce on anyone who tries to say otherwise.
