Spot on. I have personal experience with another "Farm" company. In the presentations they talk about grossing 200k your first year, but what they don't say until later is that all of that goes back into the business for the first 3-5 years.
In addition, this particular good neighbor gives you a temporary 13 month contract which doesn't necessarily translate into a permanent contract even after you've invested 100k plus.
With the fiduciary rule changes, they are also moving out of a space where their was potential for big money.

I went to an interview with them around a year ago, but decided to go the independent route.
You will 100% not make $60,000 in your first year.
You prob won't hit that until many years down the road.
They offer an "agency set-up stipend" thing where, if you write 20 policies in two consecutive months, along with 4 life policies, you earn a subsidizes for like three years.
If within those three years you do not hit your benchmarks, you owe them.
It wasn't for me, but seems to work for others.
